Smile [ :-) ] Awhile: Northern Lights?

Ajeet's Oulu visit was not just to be with his fellow alma mater colleague. His motive was to try to get to see the Northern Lights , often are visible in all its swirling blue, red and golden glory at this high latitude.

When, on the third evening, because of heavily overcast snowy skies, we were unable to see the stars, we were both a bit surprised when my better half said, very confidently, that Ajeet would see the Northern Lights the next evening. I have never heard such a forthright and dramatic statement from her in all my life. I was quite taken aback.

Next day, as we watched the skies eagerly, looking to see if there was any break of clouds to see the stars above, we were not very hopeful. But Annikki was merrily keeping her composure.

We sat down to dinner. After a nice meal, Ajeet was planning a walk around the frozen town to see whether Annikki's prediction would come true, when, out of the kitchen walked this cake designer with a recreation of the Northern Lights transfixed in a glass cake bowl. The ground made of chocolate butter covered cake, lay under a beautiful dark blue gel topping about six inches (150 cm) deep. Annikki had managed to create the entire Northern Lights effect in the jelly above the cake - quivering dark blue with stars and moon included. Ajeet and I were dumb struck.

Annikki is famous for her unique cake designs. Much of her work is soon to be published in a photographic book form (and maybe also on the internet). Neither of us expected her to fulfill a promise using her cake designs. Ajeet left back for his southerly abode quite satisfied at having seen something infinitely more unique and beautiful than the Northern Lights!! And we all had a great laugh!!

Here are the snippets from his alumni reunion report:

* Rauha Annikki, wife of Jacob Matthan, contributed a special Northern Lights Cake which she designed and made herself and which was a great hit..not a crumb was left as it was polished off by Stephanians/Cathedralites with much appreciation.

* The cake idea arose to make up for the non-appearance of the Aurora Borealis! The year 2000-2001 was forecast to be a spectacular auroral year with spectacular lights around New Moon Day (24-25 Dec) but you know weather forecasters....

REGULAR FEATURE
From the Editor's Desk:

It is good to be back again on line after two years away from the business of going up on time with the fortnightly edition of Findians Briefings. I am happy that so many of you enjoyed our relaunch edition and that are looking forward to our regular fortnightly.

There are many new features. I have been able to add the section on the Latest Daily News from Around the World which will serve up the very latest news, hour by hour. I have included a few important sections of regular news groups in this section. If you require me to add any section which is of personal interest to you, please ask and I shall try to accommodate as many of you without making it too unwieldy.

This section will give you the excuse to visit our site on a daily basis to update yourself on world events. There are many sites competing for your attention, but there are none which deals with you so personally as this one does. Along with this is the opportunity to get up-to-the minute news in English from all the Scandinavian countries. This is especially important for those of you who have no time to read the local newspapers or get someone to tell you what is happening in the region as there are very very few newspapers (hard copy) in the English language.

Findians Briefings is actually, therefore, your only source for your contact with humanity outside of the local languages. And I am happy to provide this service, not only to Findians around the world, but to all English-speaking individuals residing in Scandinavia.

I have changed the layout substantially. The Contents section remains at the top. To help the page to load fast so you do not have to wait, I have broken each section into a smaller tables. This means, when you enter the page, you do not have to wait as you will start to see each section immaterial of what is going on lower down the page. I do not intend to have large size images or banners at the top of the page, so you will get the benefit of reaching your information faster.

After the Latest News of the Day, the regular sections of Smile :-) Awhile, From the Editor's Desk and my Editorial will be followed by the exclusive features. This will be followed by the regular features as Going Sohlo and Annikki's Cake Designs.

Hence, you can start the day by seeing the latest news and visiting other locations where you want to pick up your news. When you have more time, as a weekend, you can then browse the rest of the Findians Briefings edition.

I have a whole lot of associates and affiliates, who are listed in a separate section at the base of the page. there is also a section with links to a lot of related pages. These can be viewed at leisure.

Do take time to visit my OnLine Store and the OnLine Book Store where I am linked with the very best in the field of OnLine Shopping. I have designed enough variety as well as competition in the shopping mall to ensure you get the very best at the most competitive prices.

Every fortnight I intend to give you absolutely unique material in the Exclusive Sections. You will not get the sort of information in Findians briefings IN ANY OTHER ONLINE PUBLICATION, let alone a hard copy edition of any newspaper or magazine. That is the way I have survived over the last 5 years. That is the reason why you have kept coming back for more from Findians Briefings, and that is the way I intend to keep the fortnightly atmosphere.

The most important section, however, will remain the Letters to the Editor, where, you have a chance to express your feelings and opinions. Call me a rascal, if you wish, and it will be published. However, as his is a family fortnightly, no expletives please!!

Please enjoy Findians Briefings and tell me what I should do to improve it. I am listening.

DESIGNER CAKES BY ANNIKKI

First Pond Cake

This fortnight I am featuring one of the first the pond cakes that was designed by Annikki.

The design is built using any standard cake. It is covered with a goodish layer of butter icing making an impermeable layer. A depressed section is built on the surface of the cake.

In that section is poured some hot sugar jelly solution which is colourless, unlike other jellies, and it will harden to give a clear watery area, which forms the pond on the to of the cake. This can be decorated with sweets cut into various shapes as lotus flowers, lilies, Insert a few fish sweets in the jelly area and in the clear jelly they will appear as if fish are swimming in the pond.

In the next issue I will bring you a picture of how Annikki created a hidden lake inside the mountain she created as part of her lake.

You can see some of Annikki's earlier creations on her Designer Cakes Page.

You can read the complete serialised of Annikki's book about the last years of her life in India online as given by the link below or you can order a copy (Euro 25 /US $23) including packing and shipping charges) by emailing me at findians@findians.com

Editorial: Kumbh Mela; Indian Earthquake 2001; Davos World Economic Forum

Kumbh Mela and the Indian Earthquake (See also the Letters to the Editor for a letter from a Findian shaken by the earthquake)

The Kumbh Mela saw around 80 million Hindus going to the confluence of the rivers, the Ganges, its tributary, the Jamuna, and the mythical river of Swaraswati, to wash away their sins.

Is it that easy for people to get rid of their sins? People can certainly ask God for pardon for their sins. An omnipotent God will certainly forgive those who genuinely ask forgiveness. But the Kumbh Mela is not an occasion to get rid of the sins of the past to then go back the next day to continue the same sinful earlier life, to come back again a dozen years from today to repeat the process.

In Christianity, baptism, by immersion, is undertaken when one understands the ways of God and from within one's heart asks God to show the way to a life following His path. Baptism means that the evil ways should be cast away and one should live a life which is as per God's demands of His children.

If 80 million people in India saw it fit to wash away their sins and start a new life free of greed, corruption and despotism, that can only be a good thing.

The second event in India of the last 48 hours is the massive earthquake which hit western India, the town of Bhuj in the State of Gujarat being the epicenter.

Gujarat is the home state of Mahatma Gandhi. It is also today the state which today promotes the greatest religious intolerance in India, far from the ways of the Mahatma. Could it be that God is telling the leaders and people of Gujarat that they had better change their ways as otherwise the devil will wreak havoc on the people of this State?

God is merciful and loving. He loves all people. But, He has given people the free will to choose between good and evil. It is evil that brings destruction.

It is difficult to understand why a small innocent child should die in an earthquake because of the evil committed by someone else. At times like this one could stand up and condemn God for such acts. But, maybe it is not God that is committing these acts, but the devil?

Why does God, if he is all powerful, allow the devil to exist.

If I knew the answer to that - I would be God.

Just as it is not possible to know the origins of this Universe, it is not possible to know all God's ways. We have to have faith and understand the difference between good and evil.

The World Economic Forum, Davos, Switzerland

The second subject I take up here is the World Economic Forum taking place in Davos, Switzerland.

The conditions under which this forum is taking place raise many questions in my mind. The immense security presence to guard these world political and business leaders from the people who disagree with their views shows that this is not a democratic forum. The people are angry.

It was strange that the spokesperson of the forum focused on a couple of decisions of the last year which demonstrated the good things globalisation was bringing to the people around the world. Would it not have been fair if he had also touched on a couple of the bad things that have been the result of globalisation?

Certainly a forum is necessary. But it should allow both sides of the coin to express themselves. Not just one side, the more powerful one.

It was most interesting to hear the Professor from Yale compliment Finland and other Scandinavian countries as being the most open in the world. How ignorant these "educated" people are. These are the very countries which are the most closed in the world. They are masters of cover up and polishing the rotten apple. They show an image to the world which is far far from the truth. And the Yale Professor showed his gullibility by his prognosis. The very reason why one doubts that any good can come out of such a forum is because professors from Yale can happily live unchallenged in their ignorance.

Unemployment among the ethnic minorities in Finland is over 60%. The Romanies have been persecuted here for over 400 years. The present refugees face a life of mental agony and misery as they try to survive, unable to find work and being condemned to living of a pittance of social security, and then being accused of living off the state.

If you are rich and come to these countries, you are welcomed with open arms. But if you are poor, hungry and miserable, fleeing from terror and oppression, you come to lands which are inhospitable and unequal. How can a Yale Professor stand up at the World Economic Forum and make a bland statement about these countries which does not reflect the situation on the ground?

That is why the Davos Forum cannot be respected as the basis of the expression of these leaders stands unchallenged.

GOING SOHLO - THE EQUALIZER

Yes. You bet. Sohlo is back, to back this up.

In case you have been wondering where I have been - I was engulfed by the Netherlands. There I made the mistake of working for a large corporation. I ended up doing time, incarcerated in a huge office, confined to a small space, separated from the other convicts by 120 cm, four-feet, high plastic walls which were infinitely more potent than the material leads you to expect.

The good thing about it was new friends and wider knowledge of a few European languages. I also enjoyed the public transportation pass, which enabled me to travel, free of charge, on all trains, buses and local transportation like the metro and trams. I saw all of Holland.

The city where I had to live, Amsterdam, disgusted me. It was particularly the city's degenerate and sleazy atmosphere that I found revulsive. Junkies begging for money, junkies pushing dope to you on every street corner. Sexually explicit ads on the streets, genitalia were portrayed freely every which way the pleased had decided to portray it. Once I saw a magazine cover in a window portraying a woman and a dog having ...... I hope I can erase this picture from my mind by writing about it now.

The rest of Holland was beautiful, especially the Frisean islands, with their sand dunes, idyllic fishing villages and endless beaches. What I found surprising, however, was that the Dutch tolerance was only skin-deep on many concerns. For EU-citizens, it is easy to emigrate there, but most people thought of Finland as Eastern Europe, and, therefore, a threat.

I think many Central Europeans are actually afraid of the feared influx of Eastern European immigrants. This is the age-old fear that fueled Hitler into power. It is the same fear that is fueling people like Haider in Austria and Vlaams Blok in Belgium. The Dutch are more careful of their reputation and do not show their prejudice as the nations around them do.

Anyway, I did have an actual topical issue for my comeback of 2001. And that is the discussion on-going about sexual equality. Dr Richard Swaab from the Dutch Brain Research Institute in Amsterdam claims that there are physiological differences between the male and female brain; that there is scientific credence behind cultural stereotypic about male and female being different.

The two areas most different are the hypothalamus and the corpus callosum. Swaab has found out that the hypothalamus starts shrinking in girls' brains from the age of five onwards. The hypothalamus controls our sleep, appetite, mood and libido. It also produces testosterone, which has been proven to affect spatial reasoning that has to deal with shapes and angles. The corpus callosum is a bundle of nerves, which connects the two sides of the brain. This is needed when you need to look at a matter from the other person's point-of-view. Or call it empathy. The apparently holistic nature of the female brain also results in more emotion and intuition. Men, however can concentrate their thinking more on the right side only - because data from the left side does not disturb the concentration. The right side is responsible for three-dimensional thinking and reasoning. What about the changing roles of the two genders in today's fluctuating world.

I mean, let's face it, it's a lot easier being a woman than a man. Dress as she likes, a woman will still be daring and interesting. Dress as he likes, and he is a tramp or a transvestite. Try to be a man who does not drink or smoke and you are not a man at all. When he gets drunk, passers-by will laugh at him, but not at her. She should not get so drunk. This is how it is in Finland for sure, not to mention Russia. (Finns will be mad now, they do not want to be reminded of their adjacency if not proximity. For most Finns, their country is an island. They talk about going to Europe when they mean going to places like France and Germany. Has anyone noticed yet how much I like brackets. I guess it is because I like diving. Brackets are like diving into another world only knowing you cannot stay there and the imminent return is right around the...bracket).

And I have heard so much BS about the process of dating. The very fact that we feel comfortable using the word "process" disturbs me. It has become so schizophrenic to date a girl nowadays. You do not know if you can pay for her movie ticket for fear of not being P.C. Or get Sued (:

What can a guy rely on anymore, you cannot buy her drinks, cause then you are trying to get her drunk. You are supposed to be equal, so you should go Dutch, but then you are a cheapskate. No wonder so many guys just turn passive and watch pornographic movies at home. At least you know what to expect. At least it is easier.

There are too many rules on what once used to be natural courting and enjoying life as it evolved. Now there is too much input that makes youth passive and confused. Like my grandmother said, she feels sorry for today's children, growing up basically without their mother, when she is at work. Do not get me wrong, I believe in equal opportunity, but I think it is also important to discuss the impact of day-care centers and being woken up at an early hour and then driven over to to this place with a surrogate mom. I would imagine that is a bit fragmenting.

And that's all for this restart issue of Findians Briefings. Make it a pleasant start to a new Millennium. Look forward to the next issue of my violin sohlos.

Findians Exclusive 1: Prolific Authors - Findians

The Findians Community extends to well over 10,000 individuals and is the subject of interest of over 80,000 persons around the world. But the hard core of Findians are located in Finland and a few in India. The one thing about Findians is that they are prolific authors. This week I will mention just two of our most famous - Prof. Asko Parpola, Head of the Institute of Asian and African Studies at the University of Helsinki and Professor Emeritus at the New Delhi Institute of Management, Professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, Visiting Professor in Business Studies at the Helsinki School of Business Administration as well as the University of Tampere University, Ajeet Mathur.

Professor Asko Parpola is probably one of the most famous of the Findians in that his work on Indology is well known and well respected. He has visited India several times and is competent not only in the language but also the cultures of that country. During the celebrations of the 50th year of Indian Independence, he organised a conference at his parent university, Helsinki, where a number of papers were presented on the subject of Indology. The publication is available from me.

The proceedings of the International Symposium held on 6th May 1998, have been published in the University of Helsinki Studia Orientalia series, edited as part of the Finnish Oriental Society by Prof. Asko Parpola of the Institute of Asian and African Studies and Social Anthropologist Sirpa Tenhunen, both in the University of Helsinki. (314 pages) The Foreword is by the two editors. The contributors are:

  • Don Handelman: Husband and Wife and the Game of Dice: ´Siva and Pãrvati Fall Apart
  • Virpi Hämeen-Anttila: For Ever Thou Shalt Love and She Be Fair: Kãlidãsa's Vision of the Ideal Marriage
  • Klaus Karttunen: Mutual Agreement or Auction of Brides: Ancient Indian Marriage in Greek Accounts
  • Lina Fruzzetti and Ákos Öster: Hierarchy Revisited
  • Heli Uusikylä: The Seeds in the Container: Metaphors of Conception and Kinship in Rural Bangladesh
  • Minna Säävälä: The 'Hindu Joint Family': Past and Present
  • Sirpa Tenhunen: Urban Hierarchies in Flux: Arranged Intercaste Marriages in Calcutta
  • G. Gopinathan: The Process of Rehumanisation Initiated by Sri Narayana Guru and Its Impact on Kinship and Other Social Relationships in Kerala
  • Mohan K. Gautam: Santal-Munda Kinship and Family
  • Antti Pakaslahti: Family-centered Treatment of Mental Health Problems
  • Asko Parpola: Sãvitri and Resurrection: The Ideal of Devoted Wife, Her Forehead Mark, Sati, and Human Sacrifice in Epiv-Purãnic, Vedic, Harappan-Dravidian and Near Eastern Perspectives

Prof. Mathur published a very interesting report for The Research Institute of the Finnish Economy in 1998 called "Finland - India Economic Relations: A Twinning Study of Trade and Investment Potential". Prof. Mathur and Reinhilde Veuglers pioneered the concept of twinning studies of trade and investment potential between a pair of any two countries at K.U. Leuven, Belgium in 1993. The method was developed further by Prof. Mathur to identify and list specific products and services in those sectors in which business opportunities may be profitably created and sustained for the pair of Finland and India. The book reveals the comparative advantages of Finland and India with respect to each other and provides information on business opportunities for Finnish business in India and vice versa.

The revised edition of this book will be available this year, 2001. Also available from Prof. Mathur will be his periodical Newsletter Called "Indian Economic Outlook.

Another publication just released by Tampere University is fascinating document entitled "What Knowledge if of Most Worth?" This is the revised version of the invited paper presented by Prof. Mathur at the international conference on "Internationalisation of Curriculum Studies" at the Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, USA between April 27-30, 2000. The document inquires into the old Spencerian question in relation to three potential referents, Knowledge, learners, society, which are concerned with the conversion of data to information and the wisdom to derive insights and knowledge.

Write to me to obtain details of how to lay your hands on this document..

(Other Findian authors I will be highlighting in this series will be Prof. G. Gopinathan, Malathi Khembhavi, Mathew Verghese, Virpi Hämeen-Anttila, Heli Uusikylä, Minna Säävälä, Sirpa Tenhunen, Antti Pakaslahti, Annikki Matthan, Joanna Matthan and of course, the most prolific of all, myself, Jacob Matthan.)

GOING SOHLO - Finnish Version
TASA-ARVO KUNNIAAN - NAISET ARMEIJAAN

Sohlo on palannut. Juuri parahiksi kereten uudelle Millenniumille. Se kolmas. Ja joulu on taas. Ja ihmisillä hyvä mieli? Unohtakaa lahjahysteria. Mikä on tärkeintä? Rakkaus.

Olen pretty much ollut Hollannissa nämä viime vuodet.

Miesten käpyrauhanen on suurempi. Naisten aivokurkiainen taas paksumpi. Käpyrauhanen kontrolloi ihmisen mielentilaa, unta, ja tuottaa mm. seksuaalihormoneja. Testosteronin on todettu vaikuttavan positiivisesti geometristä älyä vaativissa äO-testeissä. Aivokurkiainen taas yhdistelee asioita kahden eri aivopuoliskon välillä, jolloin aivot pystyvät paremmin eläytymään eri tilanteisiin tunteella. Esimerkikiksi aivohalvauksen sattuessa naisten puhekyky ei merkittävästi heikkene, koska he pystyvät kompensoimaan menetystä toiselta aivopuoliskolta.

Dear Friends,

It was a cold and chilling experience for all of us on the morning of 26th January 2001, our Indian Republic Day, a national celebration day. Indians had been celebrating this national day with great honour and splendour..

Around 09.00 a.m., when it was time for me to get up and start with my morning chores, I felt as if some monster was shaking me. I tried to adjust my sleeping position but the cot kept moving sidewards. For a moment I visualized that I was dreaming and took a short wink of 4 seconds.

Oh God! The rattling noise. The entire room was shaking. Even the bed had such jerks that I felt that we were being bombarded. But it was not so. The vibrations took about what seemed to be 5 minutes. Guess what it was. An earthquake had hit Mumbai. The tremors had their epicenter in Gujarat at a place known as Bhuj near Ahmedabad which is on the north west coast not very far from Mumbai. Right now there is a massive evacuation operation in progress to recover dead bodies out.

Imagine the plight of the dead who have been crushed underneath the rubble. It could have been a few millions. As yet the figure of casualties has not been disclosed by our press and Newspapers.

The saddest part, 400 school kids who had gone to attend the Flag Hoisting on account of the Republic Day had been trapped under the school premises.

If this calamity had struck Mumbai, perhaps it would have been the the worst disaster ever known to the world. My experience of this tremor has shaken me up and I am just praying that nature does not to follow this hasty step. Oh God, do protect us. Friends from Finland, Germany, Paris, UK, USA, and all over, do pray for us. We don't need anymore catastrophes in India. Please!!!

Love

Malathi Kembhavi and Family

Hello,

I just came across this site while surfing the Helsinki web pages. I am interested in joining for the newsletter.

I have stayed in Helsinki, Finland for the last 9 months along with husband, Pravin Bhajipale. I am from Mumbai. I was very glad to hear about Findians. Do let me know about the events / programs happening in Helsinki area. I would be glad if I could provide a helping hand. I know very little Indians here, especially people from Mumbai, since I just shifted here 3 months ago from Salo.

I hope this is the right email address, if not just ignore this mail.

Thanks.
Shubhangi Bhajipale.

Jacob!

We have not been in contact with you for a long time, which does not mean that we have forgotten you. No!

Thank you for all your letters.

There has been, however, problems in opening your letters (since summer). The text is very unclear and messy. Many kinds of fonts and texts on top of each other.

I wonder why?

Loving greetings,
Yrjö & Shahnaz

Hi Jacob,

A Happy New Year to you too!

For your information, I am using Netscape (v. 4.7) for reading your mail and the mail was virtually unreadable, since the letters of several sentences are projected on top of each other. I am not sure what is the reason. It looks like reading the mail as HTML works fine (the included message below shows on my composition window as it should).

Yours

Johan

(
Ed: It appears that some of you are having problems with the email that you may receive from me. I have not been able to identify the problem as I am using Eudora 5.0.1. I was using the feature to send out styled text, but I had similar complaints from Stina Vasu, the Honorary Consul for Sweden in Chennai, Anil Ruia, Elijah Elias, both friends from Bombay, and a whole host of others. Hence, I have started to send out mail to those who complain in plain format and to others in both styled and plain format. Please let me know whether you have a problem with the mail you may receive from me so that I can change your mailing details to plain format only, till such time as we can resolve this problem.)

SCANDALS & SCAMS
Nigerian / Sierra Leonian Scam

I must be one of the most famous persons in this world as far as West Africans are concerned. seem to get letters from the relatives and cohoirts of all the corrupt politicians asking me to recover the stashed away loot of their husbands, brothers, etc. First it was Mrs. Hillary Kargbo, the wife of the Late Central Bank Governor Mr. Christian Kargbo, under the short time ten-month Government of Major Paul Koromah. This time it is the turn of the "BARRISTER HARUNA IBRAHIM, THE LEGAL ADVISER TO MOHAMMED ABACHA THE PRESENT HEIR TO THE ESTATE OF THE LATE HEAD OF STATE OF THE FEDERAL MILITARY GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA, LATE GENERAL SANNI ABACHA".

Of course this is good for a laugh, except that many people around the world are being duped by such schemers.

BE WARNED. The Nigerian Scam Scandal still rages. I received an email just last week and another this week, given below - which is even more audacious:

These fraudsters have not vanished, so be on guard. There are now several places from where you can now pick up information about how they operate.

Our hilarious article Greed - Missile of Black Gold was the first to expose this scam on the Finnish web. This article is a HIT on the internet.

Roy Davies has an excellent site about Financial Scandals in which he has also linked back to our article.

There are two more major web sites which give you more information about the Nigerian Scam and how to act. These are the Nigeria - The 419 Coalition Website and its Links to Websites Fighting the Nigerian Scam/419, where Findians Briefings is also listed and the International Investigation Services Website. Please do visit them so as to be prepared.

If you really want to read about financial scams - and there are literally hundreds of them floating around - we suggest you read the monthly column by Peter Hetherington which is published by the magazine The International.

The International has been put on line but unfortunately they have not put up Peter's page as yet.

Computer Scamsters

The horrifying scandal associated with the once multinational AST Research Inc., now gone bust because of our concerted attack on the practices of this company. AST was taken over by the Korean Multinational Samsung (crooked birds of a feather flock together). Details of our battler with this computer manufacturer can be found at David vs Goliath.

And do not buy an Casio equipment as their Products and Customer Service stinks. Our personal experience.

If you have a scandal or injustice, you would like us to investigate and publish, to help yourself and other web surfers, do drop us a line.

REGULAR FEATURE
Findians Exclusive 2: Reaching the Top in Search Engines

Have you got a great web site?

Do you find the web traffic is not being generated?

Is your site not listed in the top 30 sites on all the major search engines?

Do you want your site discovered by your customers as well as your potential customers?

Would you like to solve any or all these problems?

Search engine positioning is the very first step of the successful B2B (Business to Business) and B2C (Business to Customer) W4 formulae that we have developed. We have shown how it is possible that you too could force your web site to be rated among the very top on all the major internet search engines, without spending any hard cash in buying placements.

Based on our practical and hands-on experience, 80% of our web sites are now in the top 10 positions in all the major search engines. Our speciality areas cover Finland to India, Project Management and Concurrent Engineering to Social Responsibility in Business, Animal Abuse, Cruelty and Welfare to Veganism, Acupuncture to Yoga, Polymers to Microelectronics, etc.

Analysis of results

The results we have achieved are truly remarkable. Out of 45 possible results, Findians Paradise web pages hold 21 No. 1 spots (42%), 5 are in No. 2 spots. 3 are in No. 3 spots, 2 are in No. 4 spots and 3 are in No. 5 spots. In four search engines, a new page on Social Responsibility in Business had not yet been indexed. But, in the 5 search engines that have found it, it has reached the No. 1 spot in 4 and the No.2 spot on the 5th. Out of 45 results, 36 pages were in the top 10 - a phenomenal 80%. (You can see screen shots of some of the search results pages which demonstrate the proof of this achievement.)

Without doubt, in the field of books, Findians Paradise web pages are the only really comprehensive book store pages which are unearthed on the web in all the categories that it is active in, not only the five topics that had been chosen for this investigation.

If a search relevancy factor was introduced into the analysis, then Findians Paradise would be in the top ten in almost every single category it was active in - a possible 95 - 99% result.

Since 75% of all traffic to web sites is generated from the search engines, all methods must depend on a successful presentation of the web pages on the search engines. There is no alternative to this route. The alternative is certainly not by using MLM, viral marketing or spamming.

With search engine placements it is the serious customer that is approaching the seller. These customers will run a mile from any method which shows they are being compromised.

No strategy can be successful without understanding this fundamental, which is the foundation on which the B2B and B2C W4 formulae are based - your customer is an intelligent human being- not an idiotic robot..

All subsequent steps of the B2B and B2C W4 formulae that we have developed are dependent on the domination of the search engines.
